Through a cooperation with the Jazz Faculty of Venice and thanks to the curated selection made by Prof. Corrado Pasquotti, we'll see plaing young talents we'll soon hear talk about.

JAZZ ON FIVE

The group was born from the conservatory of Benedetto Marcello students in Venice and "Cesare Pollini" from Padua and uses various jazz standards.

A night with Ophir

Ophir is a project born in 2013 by the encounter of

Marco Centasso (double bass / electric bass)
Jacopo Giacomoni (sax counterpart) e
Raul Catalan (drums)

In direct musical workshops
From prof. Daniele Goldoni at Ca 'Foscari University in Venice. With the "Electrofoscari" ensemble, born in the lab, the three musicians perform in important festivals such as the FIMU of Belfort 2012 (France); MusiCafoscari Jazz Fest 2014 and 2015; The Mira Jam Jazz Fest 2014 and 2015; Sile Jazz 2016 and Jazz Metropolitan Area 2017 (Dolo, Padua).

Starting with their common interest in free-jazz, the Ophir venture into the re-reading of standards and the execution of original songs recorded in their first album, Ophir, released in 2017. The sound result sometimes exceeds the formal jazz choices, alternating Rockfunk rhythms and sounds with moments of minimalist improvisation.

Summer Jazz

Il progetto Summer Jazz vede coinvolti i brani più famosi provenienti dal repertorio jazz e pop. Un percorso che parte dalla tradizione, dagli anni '30  del 900, fino ad arrivare ai giorni nostri. Il gruppo è composto da piano, basso, batteria e due voci, per riuscire a cogliere le diverse sfumature di questo tipo di repertorio.
