Many of you undoubtedly already know ISCHIA, but for those who do not, we would like to give some information. The island of ISCHIA is near Capri, in the Gulf of Naples. It is famous worldwide thanks to its volcanic origin: an island in the Mediterranean with a hint of the exotic, thanks to its marvelous climate. Rich vegetation, lovely colours also in the winter months, summer activities from springtime to autumn with beaches, small romantic coves, boat trips, nightlife. Excursions to the Epomeo and Rotaro mountains, sightsseeings around Ischia, cultural visits to the archaeological sites of Pompeii, Paestum, Herculaneum, and tours to Vesuvius, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Capri etc.
This is only one of the island’s aspects. Indeed, in these magnificent surroundings beneficial thermal water cures are also available, in addition to mud bath treatments, inhalation and many other therapies which can be useful in treating rheumatic ailments, in speeding up healing after accidents and even rejuvenating!

From March-November and Xmas/NewY you can enjoy an indoor warm mineral bath with pure water gushing out every morning at a temperature of roughly 40° C as well as the outdoor pool at room temperature (not in winter).
In the garden, with Southern vegetation made up of rare exotic plants, there are many areas in which to relax, with deckchairs and sun beds, and a sun terrace as well.

Shops (also with home delivery) are easily reached, just 10 minutes’ walk; the town centre ofForio and, in the opposite direction, the Citara beach with the Poseidon termal park are about 20 minutes’ walk away. There is a bus stop within 100 m with connections to the whole island of Ischia. The island bus service is quite good, with frequent buses to all the main points of interest. Car-hire is reasonably priced. Villa Ravino has itw own parking area.
Small pets are welcome on request (extra fee of € 5.00 per day).
We organize it from the Airport or Railway stations in Naples to Villa Ravino. Cost per person € 45.00/p.p. one way for a minimum of 2 persons, 1 single person € 72.00 one way incl. ferry ticket. Sea crossing by hydrofoil: + € 12.00/p.p. one way.
However, it is very easy to reach the harbour on yourself. There are many ferries (ca 12.00 €) and hydrofoils (ca. 20.00 €) available all day long.
